My Feather Painting GalleryAll my paintings were inspired by one thing or another. The following painting titled "Courage" is my most recent piece. So far I have had numerous people asking why I decided to title the piece "Courage." Here is the story: While attending a gathering with my family in Apple
Valley, California, it came time for the young jingle dress dancers to get
out into the circle and dance. This young girl in the painting was the only
jingle dress dancer in the entire gathering. And while very timid, she still
got out there and danced beautifully. People were so impressed by her
courage that, in the middle of the song, they started throwing money into
the circle. If I were that young girl, I can't honestly say I would have
done the same thing. Nonetheless, I was so impressed by the scene that I
decided to use it for one of my paintings.
